To create such an environment for you, BPD Woningfonds processes your personal data. We take privacy seriously and do everything we can to comply with applicable privacy laws and regulations.

In this Privacy Statement for the (rental) websites of BPD Woningfonds, you can read why and when we process certain personal data, how we protect it, and what your rights are. Do you have questions about the Privacy Statement? Then send an email to BPDprivacyoffice@bpd.nl.

Data Controller

BPD Woningfonds rents out housing to private individuals. This Privacy Statement applies to BPD Woningfonds and all companies affiliated with BPD Woningfonds, and relates to the processing of personal data from website visitors, prospective tenants, and other interested parties.

Who is responsible for processing personal data?

BPD RCF Fundmanagement B.V. is responsible for processing personal data. This website is offered by, and falls under the responsibility of, BPD RCF Fundmanagement B.V. and its associated service providers ("Provider").

What data do we process?

We may process the following personal data:

  • Name, address and place of residence;
  • Contact information (email address and telephone number);
  • Date and place of birth;
  • Identification document (document number and nationality)
  • Financial data, including income, position, employment status, financial obligations and/or assets;
  • Marital status and information about current housing situation;
  • Preferences for housing type and location;
  • (Digital) signature; and
  • IP address and information from cookies and similar technologies.

Purposes of Processing

Why do we process your personal data? There are various purposes for which we may process your personal data.

  • You visit a website of BPD Woningfonds

    When you visit a website of BPD Woningfonds, we measure your usage to continuously improve the information on our websites.

    The traffic to and from our website and social media channels (e.g. LinkedIn) and the click behavior of website visitors give us insight into interest in areas, neighborhoods and homes. This also helps us improve our information provision through the various channels. You can find more information about this on the cookie page, which you will find at the bottom of the website.

  • You are interested in a project or a home from BPD Woningfonds

    If you want to be kept informed about our new construction projects, you can register on our website. In doing so, you share your name and contact details with BPD Woningfonds and you give BPD Woningfonds permission to process your personal data for sending communications.

  • You want to save a search profile on the website of BPD Woningfonds

    If you want to save your search profile on our website or request a home viewing, you need a personal account. To request and create an account, BPD Woningfonds processes your personal data:

    • Gender (to address you correctly)
    • Name (initials, first names, prefix, last name)
    • Address and place of residence
    • Contact details (telephone number and email address)

  • You register for a home (new construction)

    If you are interested in a home (building number) within a new construction project, you can register for it (online). When registering, we ask you to share information about yourself and your income and housing situation with us via Datakeeper.

    Based on this information, we can assess whether you meet BPD Woningfonds's Rental Terms and whether you are eligible to participate in the lottery system. The lottery system is a fully automated process that takes place via a digital system.

    The following personal data may be requested:

    • Name (initials, first names, prefix, last name)
    • Address and place of residence
    • Date of birth
    • Gender (to address you correctly)
    • Income situation (e.g. employer statement, annual report or pension statement)
    • Housing situation (e.g. rental or own home, family composition, target group).
  • You request a viewing (existing property)

    If you are interested in a home from BPD Woningfonds, you can register by submitting a viewing request. With this request you will be asked to share information about your income and housing situation with BPD Woningfonds.

    Due to high demand for its homes, BPD Woningfonds uses a lottery system for home viewings. In each lottery, BPD Woningfonds selects three interested parties for viewing a home. The lottery system is a fully automated process that takes place via a digital system

    You are eligible to participate in the lottery when your income situation meets BPD Woningfonds's Rental Terms. To assess whether you meet the conditions, BPD Woningfonds asks you to share personal data via Datakeeper.

    The following personal data may be requested:

    • Name (initials, first names, prefix, last name)
    • Address and place of residence
    • Date of birth
    • Gender (to address you correctly)
    • Income situation (e.g. employer statement, annual report or pension statement)
    • Housing situation (e.g. rental or own home, family composition, target group).
  • You have been provisionally awarded a new construction home

    When a new construction home has been provisionally assigned to you, BPD Woningfonds asks you to provide additional information and/or personal data via Datakeeper, including a scan of your identification document and a landlord or mortgage certificate.

    BPD Woningfonds processes this information needed to be able to offer you a (draft) lease agreement. Furthermore, BPD Woningfonds is legally required to - among other things - verify the identity of new tenants.

  • You have viewed a home and want to rent it

    If you qualify for the home after viewing (under our lottery system) and you want to rent the home, BPD Woningfonds asks you to provide additional information via Datakeeper, including a scan of your identification document and a landlord or mortgage certificate.

    BPD Woningfonds processes this information to be able to offer you a (draft) lease agreement. Furthermore, BPD Woningfonds is legally required to - among other things - verify the identity of new tenants.

  • You contact BPD Woningfonds via telephone, email or web form

    When you contact BPD Woningfonds, we will record your name, contact details and the reason for contact in our system. This way you only have to tell your story once and we can help you quickly.

    Depending on the reason and/or subject of the contact, BPD Woningfonds may share your name and contact details with third parties to follow up on the agreements we have made with you.

  • You attend an event of BPD Woningfonds

    BPD Woningfonds organizes events around its new construction projects and/or homes. We announce events in advance via a news item to interested parties and tenants. We record the events on video - photos and videos - and we publish about this on LinkedIn and our websites.

    When using visual material, we pay attention to protecting the privacy of event visitors. However, please be aware that if you attend an event of BPD Woningfonds, you may be recorded on video.

    BPD Woningfonds is not responsible for any recordings, use of visual material and/or publications by journalists not acting on behalf of BPD Woningfonds.

Grounds for Processing

We process your personal data carefully and on the basis of a legal ground. BPD Woningfonds only processes your personal data when one or more of the following grounds are met:

  • We have your consent
  • We enter into an agreement with you
  • We have a legitimate interest
  • We must comply with a legal obligation

Personal Account

To save a search profile and/or respond to a home, it is necessary to register as an interested party on our websites. To do this, you provide some personal data to BPD Woningfonds. The personal data is stored in a personal environment, which only you have access to by means of a username and password. In this personal environment you can view the data that BPD Woningfonds maintains and if desired modify it, including your preferences for our SMS and email services, and your interest in and preferences for a home.

Deletion of Data

Have you registered as an interested party on one of our websites and are you no longer interested in a home from BPD Woningfonds, then you can (have) your account and personal data deleted. Below is how you can do this:

  • If you have registered for a new construction project, or after assignment of an option you have not rented a new construction home, you can submit a right to be forgotten request via the 'Manage Registration' option in your account.
  • If you have an account on the website 'hurenbij.bpdwoningfonds.nl', you can delete your account by opening the Privacy settings on the website (at the bottom of the page) and clicking the "Yes, delete my account" button.

Automated Deletion

In certain situations, accounts are automatically deleted by BPD Woningfonds;

  • If you have registered as an interested party for (a home in) a new construction project and you do not unsubscribe, we will keep your data until a maximum of one year after completion of the project in question. After that, we delete your personal data. You will not receive confirmation of this. A number of data, such as preferences for housing types and/or building numbers, we keep and use anonymized for analytical purposes and continuous improvement of our future offering of new construction projects and homes.
  • An account on the website hurenbij.bpdwoningfonds.nl and the personal data contained in it will be automatically deleted after a period of 100 days of inactivity. If you have not used your account on our website for 100 days, you will receive an email asking whether you want to remain registered. If you do not respond to this email, you will receive a reminder after 14 days. If you again do not respond to the email, your account will be automatically closed four days later. You will receive confirmation of this by email.

Retention Period

We do not retain your personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which we process your data. Do we no longer need your personal data for that purpose? Then we delete your personal data. But sometimes we are required to keep your data longer. For example if the law requires it.

Sharing of Data

BPD Woningfonds does not in principle share personal data with other parties (third parties). Unless:

  • The law requires it of BPD Woningfonds. We can then share relevant personal data with government bodies and/or supervisory authorities, such as the Tax Authority and the Data Protection Authority;
  • Sharing of personal data is necessary for our service provision. We can share personal data with external service providers ('Processors') if necessary, who carry out activities on behalf of BPD Woningfonds and process personal data in the process.

Processors

BPD Woningfonds uses external service providers ('Processors') who perform work for BPD Woningfonds and may process your personal data in doing so. This includes among others:

BPD Woningfonds has entered into processor agreements with the aforementioned parties, which set out agreements about the careful handling and protection of personal data.

Your Rights

When BPD Woningfonds processes your personal data, you have a number of privacy rights under the GDPR:

  • Right of Access: You can ask what personal data we use about you. This way you can check whether we are doing that correctly according to privacy law, the GDPR.
  • Right to Rectification: If the personal data we have about you is incorrect or incomplete? Then you can ask us to correct or supplement the data.
  • Right to Erasure: In some cases you can ask us to delete your personal data.
  • Right to Restrict Processing: You can ask us to temporarily stop using your personal data.
  • Right to Data Portability: You can ask us to transfer your personal data to another organization.
  • Right to Object: You can sometimes object to the processing of your personal data.
  • Right to Human Review of Automated Decisions: If you receive an automated decision from us, you can ask us to make a new decision that has been reviewed by a person.

Under the GDPR, you also have the right to withdraw your consent. Did you previously give BPD Housing Fund permission to use your personal data, but have you changed your mind? Then you can withdraw your consent. From that point on, we will no longer process your personal data. Unless BPD Woningfonds (also) has another ground to process your data.

Changes to this Privacy Statement

BPD Woningfonds reserves the right to amend this Privacy Statement if necessary and publish it on our websites. The amended Privacy Statement takes effect after publication, in accordance with applicable law. If BPD Woningfonds has already collected personal data from you that may be affected by the amendment and/or is subject to a legal information obligation, we will inform you about this.

This Privacy Statement was last amended on November 24, 2025 and is subject to review annually.

About BPD Woningfonds

BPD Woningfonds FGR is a unique investment fund, established in 2019, with a focus on sustainable and affordable new construction rental homes, intended for households with middle income, including (first-time) starters, families and independently living elderly, including seniors with moderate to severe care needs.

BPD RCF Custodian B.V. is the legal owner of the rental homes, which are rented out by BPD Woningfonds. When you rent a home, you enter into a lease agreement with BPD RCF Custodian B.V.

BPD RCF Fundmanagement B.V. is the administrator of the BPD Woningfonds FGR and is responsible for processing personal data of persons interested in BPD Woningfonds's homes. However, in this Privacy Statement, BPD Woningfonds is regarded as the provider of the homes.

BPD RCF Fundmanagement is located at IJsbaanpad 1, 1076 CV in Amsterdam and registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 76298264.
